An affordable commercial sawmill that can be installed quickly and easily, the LT70B sawmill delivers larger cutting capacity than the LT40B sawmill.
The LT70B cuts logs up to 95 cm in diameter and 4.8-8.8 m long with the standard bed options. In order to cut longer logs, bed extensions can be added to extend the sawmill bed to any required cutting length. The LT70B bed’s low height is uniquely designed for affordable production purposes. All log handling features are manual operated. Logs are secured to the bed by the log clamp and adjustable backstops. Toe boards adjust for log taper with a manual crank.
The LT70B sawmill head retains the same productivity features of Wood-Mizer’s premium LT70 sawmill series. With the standard electronic, simply select the board thickness required and the head height automatically positions for each cut - no waiting for manual calculations. Forward and reverse movement is made by the variable speed power feed.
